The Russia-Ukraine conflict spilled over into the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Community yesterday, with a good old-fashioned fistfight between the representatives of Russia and Ukraine at the international event held in Ankara, Türkiye.
A video from the venue that has got millions of views on social networks shows a Russian representative coolly walking over to the large event signboard against which flags of nations were placed, and tearing down the flag of Ukraine.
As the Russian representative walks away with the Ukraine flag crumpled in his hand, the Ukrainian representative, who stood for a photo-op near the board, gives chase and catches the Russian, appearing to give him a solid punch.

The Russian nearly falls to the floor from the force of the blow, but manages to get away. The Ukrainian runs after him again, gives him some more thrashing, and snatches the flag back. In the later part of the video, other delegates try to make peace as the Ukrainian folds the ill-treated national flag.
