The trailer opens with Diljit Dosanjh, who is trying to act like Gabbar from the film Sholay. The actor continues to entertain with his amusing way of dialogue delivery. Sonakshi Sinha is playing a fashion designer, as the trailer depicts. Riteish Deshmukh is looking his usual hilarious. Karan Johar, who it seems has a double role in the film, is seen mocking about his directorial Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Boman Irani, Lara Dutta, Sushant Singh Rajput and Baahubali fame Rana Daggubati are also seen in the trailer. The hilarious trailer has given audiences more reasons to look forward to this ride.

Director Chakri Toleti said, "We have an extraordinary cast in our film, but the beauty is how they compliment each other. It was a pleasure working with such talented actors, especially in comedy, timing is everything."

Veteran Producer Vashu Bhagnani said, "Salman has been most gracious in believing in our film and supporting it. We believe the best way to entertain is through laughter and Welcome To New York has tons of it. It's an out-an-out laugh riot."

Wiz Films' Andre Timmins added, "We approached Salman to launch our film’s trailer and the generous person that he is, was more than happy to oblige. Just by seeing the Welcome To New York trailer you will understand what we have been able to achieve with some of Bollywood's biggest stars there to entertain you.”

Welcome To New York is a heartfelt, rib-tickling comedy that tells the story of two unlikely youngsters living in India in search of a better life for themselves. An unexpected trip to New York City sets them off on a comedic adventure that changes their lives forever.
