Manasvi Mangai to lead Bollywood show at Trump’s inauguration ceremony

“The Make America Great Again! Welcome Celebration” concert – an event preceding President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony is tomorrow, January 20, 2017, and the preparations have reached their final stage.

As a precursor to the main event, Bollywood celebrities will be performing on January 19 a day before Trump’s inauguration ceremony.  

Led by former Miss India-turned-Bollywood-actress Manasvi Mamgai will commence with A R Rahman’s Oscar-winning composition, ‘Jai Ho’ at the dance extravaganza titled ‘Hindu and Indian-American Voices to Make America Strong Again.’

Indian-American businessman Shalabh Kumar, head of the Republican Hindu Coalition had roped in Mamgai for conceptualising the entire act.

Mostly from Bollywood, the mix of entertainers lined up for the day is a troupe of 30 Indian performers, who are trained by Suresh Mukend- a young choreographer from Nalasopara in Mumbai.

Giving a glimpse of India’s rich culture and country’s opulence, dancers will showcase their moves on various Indian dance genres.
