Mike Pence, Vice President, USA

Donald Trump, aged 70, will be the oldest American president. While taking the stage to chants of 'U-S-A, U-S-A!', he said,  "I've just received a call from Secretary Clinton. She congratulated us – it's about us – on our victory and I congratulated her and her family on a very, very hard-fought campaign. Hillary has worked very long and very hard over a long period of time and we owe her a major debt of gratitude for her service to our country. I mean that very sincerely."

Donald Trump's VP Mike Pence in his speech said, “This is a historic night, the American people have spoken and the American people have elected their new champion. America has elected a new President. It's almost hard for me to express the honour that I and my family feel that we will have the privilege to serve as your Vice-President of the United States of America."

Hillary Clinton won in states including New York, Nevada, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Massachusetts, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Vermont and Delaware.
