Alia Bhatt is sporting a never seen before look in the trailer of her and Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film 'Gangubau Kathiawadi'; in total control and as swashbuckling as they come.
Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Dr Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studios), the film is all set to release theatrically on February 25, 2022.
Shooting the movie took two years to complete during one of the most challenging time periods the world has seen. Alia Bhatt summarised the making of the film during these tumultuous times in an Instagram post, “This film and set has been through two lockdowns... two cyclones... director and actor getting Covid during the making!!! the troubles the set has faced is another film altogether! But through all that and more... what I take away is the gigantic life changing experience!”
Gangubai Kathiawadi will have its world premiere at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival between February 10-20. Watch the trailer here.
