After Chandrayaan 3, ISRO gearing up to launch Aditya-L1 Solar Exploratory mission

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is gearing up for the launch of Aditya-L1 Solar Exploratory mission to study the Sun.

It is going to be India's first space-based Indian observatory to study the Sun.

ISRO is expected to conduct the mission just more than a month after the launch of the lunar mission Chandrayaan-3.

ISRO will be using its reliable and workhorse launch vehicle PSLV
for the Sun mission.

Sharing an image on the official X page, ISRO on Monday said: "Aditya-L1, the first space-based Indian observatory to study the Sun , is getting ready for the launch."

"The satellite realised at the U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru has arrived at SDSC-SHAR, Sriharikota," read the post.
