48 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore on September 14, with no community cases

The Ministry of Health reported 48 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore as of 12 pm on September 14. This takes the nation’s tally of confirmed infections to 57,454.

There are no infections in the community among the new cases, according to MOH.

Additionally, there are five imported cases, of which one is a Singapore Permanent Resident who returned to Singapore from India on August 30. Another two are Work Pass/ Work Permit holders currently employed in Singapore who arrived from India on September 2. Another case, a Short-Term Visit Pass holder whose parent is a Singaporean, arrived from India on September 5.

The remaining case, who is also a Short-Term Visit Pass holder, is a technician who arrived from the US on September 1 on a work project.
