Zee TV launches initiative for women entrepreneurs in Singapore

A one-of-its-kind competition open to women with home-grown businesses in Singapore, SHEVentures will showcase the talent of women entrepreneurs. The initiative by Zee TV will support these women by giving them access to an accelerator program and help them take their businesses to the next level.

The competition will run until the May 15 after which entries will be sent to the judges and announcement will be made May 25 for the Top 20.

The selection process for the top 20 will consist of three phases – Business case and ideas submission, shortlisting of 20 women entrepreneurs and a final day of workshops that will be attended by them.

The top 20 women will be given unique opportunities and awards aimed at increasing their experience. They will be featured across Zee TV’s platforms and also get a chance to advertise their business on TV and gain visibility.

“Our current positioning is about writing your own destiny by taking control of your future and therefore this initiative is a way of empowering women to hone their skill set thereby growing their business,” said Tripta Singh, Executive Vice President Zee TV Asia Pacific.

“The mission of this campaign is to be an excellent personal and professional development opportunity for women entrepreneurs. Through our collaborations with like-minded organizations like Facebook She Means Business, HubSpot, SP Jain School of Management, Nivea,  Passion Peers, True Fitness and IWA, Singapore we are offering educational workshops, mentoring and media visibility that will enable them to accelerate their growth,” said Mansi Chopra, Marketing Manager, Zee TV Asia Pacific.  

The competition will run until the May 15 after which entries will be sent to the judges and announcement will be made May 25 for the Top 20.  The workshop will take place after contacting the winners based on their availability. You can register here.
