Use Deliveroo frequently? You may want to sign up for their Plus service to save on delivery fees

Food delivery firm ​Deliveroo has launched a new monthly subscription service that offers unlimited orders with no delivery fees.

This will help frequent customers who use their delivery service more than three times a month to save on the fees, according to reports. 

The new islandwide Deliveroo Plus service charges S$10.90 a month. Users onboard will not have to pay the usual 3SGD delivery fee for an order.

In a press release, the company explained that more than half of Singapore's food-delivery application users tapping such services more than three times a month. Therefore, its new subscription service is poised to help them make some savings.

Deliveroo Plus is offering a free first month subscription to users who sign up by November. Customers simply need to log into their Deliveroo account for the option to register.

There will also be exclusive discounts and monthly promotions from participating restaurants to subscribers.

Deliveroo Plus was first trialled in the United Kingdom. In the first two months, 50 percent of its customers saved about 45SGD in the first two months.
