Temasek Foundation to distribute free masks from Sept 21

Temasek Foundation (TF) will be distributing another round of free reusable masks, its Chief Executive Officer Ho Ching said in a Facebook post on Wednesday, September 9.

"The TF folks have been planning this for some time, and were working to make a formal announcement before this weekend."

This new round of distribution comprises "pleated style of reusable masks with adjustable ear loop lengths," Ho Ching added.

Any Singapore resident – regardless of whether they are Singapore citizens – may collect a free mask kit containing a pair of white masks each, using their government-issued identification card from September 21.

The identification can be in the form of pink or blue IC, a FIN card, a driving licence, or even a PAssioncard. "Maids or workers on work passes may also collect their free pair of masks, using their FIN card."

In addition, those who wish to have more masks may pre-order online up to 10 extra kits per person, at SGD8 per kit.

The masks are also available in the colours nacy, black, peach and light denim blue – at SGD8 for two masks. The pre-orders start Sunday, September 13.
