There are 24 new cases of local infection, out of which 21 are linked to past cases, said MOH in a news release. The other three local cases are unlinked.

Of the new local cases, fourteen have already been placed on quarantine while seven were detected via surveillance, the ministry added.

Based on MOH's investigations, 23 of the new cases are in the community and one resides in a migrant worker dormitory. There are also two imported cases, who have been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon their arrival in Singapore.

In its nightly update yesterday, MOH said that the three residents at a migrant worker dormitory who tested positive earlier that day were roommates and colleagues of a previously-reported case. The four cases now form a new cluster at the Harvest @ Woodlands dormitory where all the men reside.

The ministry also added a number of new venues to the list of places visited by COVID-19 community cases while infectious. These include a FairPrice Finest outlet at Bukit Timah Plaza, Hup Choon Eating House at 1 Binjai Park as well as the Chang Cheng company headquarters in Woodlands.
