Rajasthan Diwas 2022: Get connected with the Indian land of royals

Rajasthan Diwas is celebrated on March 30 every year, when Rajputana merged into the Dominion of India and Jaipur – famously known as the Pink City, was declared as the capital of the state. To honour the rich legacy of the state, various activities and cultural programmes takes place to mark the auspicious day.

Rajasthan is home to rich culture and heritage. Art, music, folklore, architecture and dance are the main attractions of the state. Each region of the Indian state is said to have a history and legacy of its own. 

To attract youngsters, the state has decided to make the entrance as well as sightseeing for all of the state-owned monuments and tourist attractions free of cost for all students for the duration of the Rajasthan Festival. The Festival was celebrated at the Albert Hall, Jaipur on Wednesday, March 30.

State Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot extended his warm wishes to the citizens on the occasion of Rajasthan Diwas 2022. Giving a cheerful message to the every resident through his Twitter handle, CM Gehlot said, "This day is a moment of great pride for all of us. It is a celebration of the valor, sacrifice, heritage and culture of Rajasthan."
