Serbian Tennis star Novak Djokovic put up a stunning performance to cruise to the quarterfinals of the Australian Open by beating France’s Adrian Mannarino on Sunday (January 21, 2024).

He beat his opponent 6-0 6-0 6-3.

Novak equalled Roger Federer’s all-time record by cruising to last eight of a grand slam for the 58th time.

Novak was facing tough competition in the first two rounds of the tournament but showed a return to form as the tournament entered another week of strong challenges and high-octane performance.

Djokovic’s next opponent is Fritz, who beat Greek seventh seed Tsitsipas 7-6 (7-2), 5-7, 6-3 and 6-3 to reach his first Australian Open quarterfinal.

Fritz and Djokovic met in the third round of the 2021 Australian Open, with the Serb winning in five sets.

Djokovic has won all eight of his previous matches, including a straight-sets victory at the 2023 US Open.
