Heavy rains have lashed Mumbai over the past few days, flooding streets and bringing parts of India’s Fi to a standstill. As usual, waterlogging has affected traffic, trains, and daily life. But amid the chaos, some Mumbaikars have found a way to bring humour and fun to the situation, turning the floods into a stage for creativity and viral moments.

Several videos have now gone viral on social media, showing people making the most of the knee-deep water. From surfing in the flooded lanes to turning roads into makeshift pools, these clips have captured the attention of Internet users across the country.
In one widely shared video, a man can be seen attempting his version of the viral “Aura Farming” trend that took over Instagram and YouTube earlier this year.

Another clip shows a group of boys swimming in the waterlogged streets like it’s a local pool.
One of the most hilarious videos shows two men sitting calmly on plastic chairs placed in one corner of the flooded road. Water flowed around them as they sat and sipped on their drinks, unbothered by the chaos. The scene looked more like a beachside evening than a monsoon emergency.
While the flooding has brought its share of challenges, these viral moments have offered a light-hearted break from the usual monsoon complaints. Mumbaikars are no strangers to heavy rain, and once again, their spirit of turning inconvenience into entertainment is winning hearts online.
