Director Farhan Akhtar has unveiled the name of the female lead of his upcoming venture Don 3.
Akhtar said Kiara Advani will star opposite Ranveer Singh in the movie.
The ‘Don’ franchise previously featured Priyanka Chopra in the lead role.
The star cast underwent a change when Akhtar earlier announced Ranveer Singh would step into the shoes of Shah Rukh Khan for the iconic character.
Before Khan, who was part of two Don movies directed by Khan, the role was originally played by Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan.

Don franchise
Don is an Indian movie franchise, centered around Don, a fictional Indian underworld boss.
The franchise originates from the 1978 Hindi-language action thriller film Don.
In 2006, a remake series began, with the release of Don: The Chase Begins Again. Its sequel was released in 2011, entitled Don 2.
