This year, Siddharth “Sid” Mallya, son of the former Kingfisher tycoon Vijay Mallya, landed a very big treat — Sid popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, Jasmine, and received a happy nod, both of them in full Halloween get-up.
Sid, 36, captured the heart-warming moment on camera and shared it with his 880K followers on Instagram. Mallya Jr was dressed as a pumpkin, while his lady love donned a witch’s garb.
“Well I guess you’re stuck with me now foreverrrr. I love u my juppet @jassofiaa (thank u for saying yes to this pumpkin),” Sid Mallya captioned the pictures, one of which showed him dropping to the knee in a customary proposal pose.

As per reports, the romantic moment took place at a Halloween party in California, United States. As soon as the pictures were posted, the engagement attracted positive comments from insiders in the Indian film industry. Mallya Jr is an actor, model, and a published author.
Bollywood personalities like Sophie Choudry, Evelyn Sharma, and Anusha Dandekar left their comments on Instagram, congratulating the newly engaged pair. Sid’s father, fugitive businessman Vijay Mallya, was associated with Bollywood through the Kingfisher Calendar featuring top actresses and models, India’s answer perhaps to the iconic Pirelli Calendar featuring supermodels.
