"'I' stands for Incubation or Innovation and in today's world, businesses are redefining themselves. Events like IVenture help induce the thought of ‘how do we do it differently‘,” said Harish Goyal, CEO, Zee International Asia Pacific and Africa. The event was held at the SP Jain School of Global Management in Singapore.

"The idea of this event was to provide a platform for entrepreneurs to learn, connect and grow,“ said Shalima Motial, CEO and founder of Dream Catchers. “Under one roof you have entrepreneurs who are fairly new to the industry, some have been there for a while, some from the F&B industry, some from the telecommunications industry and so on. This was a great mix because they networked and learnt so much from each other,” she added.

Innovators from different fields ranging from yoga to blockchain also underwent two days of an intensive workshop aimed at helping them improve their skill sets in operating their respective firms.

“These entrepreneurs are not only contributing to Singapore but also giving back to India and these two countries complement each other because India can provide the scale for their projects and Singapore can be their sandbox to run these experiments.,’ said Ninad Deshpande, Deputy High Commissioner of India in Singapore.
