High Commission of India now has a dedicated mobile number for emergency calls

The High Commission of India (Singapore) has set up a dedicated mobile number (91729803) for attending to emergency calls from Indian nationals in distress in Singapore during closed holidays and weekends.

Any Indian national in need of emergency Consular assistance may call the above number for help.  He/She is advised to provide his/her full particulars and the subject on which the emergency help is sought.

In the event of the mobile phone remaining busy, a text message may be sent which will be responded to quickly, the High Commission announced on its website.
