Volunteers to help juveniles with statements to police

Singapore Children’s Society will run the Appropriate Adult for Young Suspects Scheme for two years in Singapore. The purpose of the scheme is to provide assistance to persons with intellectual or mental disability (PWIDs) who are required to give a statement to the police during investigation.

Two locally transmitted Zika cases confirmed near Kovan MRT: NEA

The National Environment Agency (NEA) has confirmed two cases of locally transmitted Zika virus infection at Simon Place near Kovan MRT. Both cases are residents in the vicinity and in the same household, NEA said in a press statement on March 29, 2017.
