Giant iceberg drifts off coast of Canada, Internet users express shock over viral video

Users of X, erstwhile Twitter, have expressed their shock after a video of a gigantic iceberg sailing near the shores of the Canadian island of Newfoundland went viral recently.

In the video, the colossal icy structure could be seen drifting towards Canada's east coast.

According to reports, the viral video was shot a month ago.

The video was posted on Instagram by Emoinu Oinam.

The Instagram user wrote: "We drove down to Conche, Newfoundland to meet Shannon’s parents and came across this big surprise. This huge Iceberg was such a warm welcome to the this beautiful community."

In another post she wrote: "Ever wondered what it is like to walk around Conche? Come join me as I take a walk around and come across an IceBerg! For those who don’t know know Conche is a community on the Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Its population in 2021 was 149. (Jai Google) #Conche #IceBerg."

Meanwhile, reacting to the video, a coal media user wrote on X: "On the island of Newfoundland, Canada, people saw a colossal iceberg approaching the mainland."

Another wrote: "A giant iceberg has sailed to the Canadian island of Newfoundland."
