Former UK PM Boris Johnson will soon have baby number eight with wife number three

From No.10 to No.8 — doesn’t exactly sound like a move up, is it? But for Boris Johnson, former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, it is. Though no longer a resident of 10, Downing Street, Boris Johnson is going to be a father for the eighth time.

His present wife, Carrie Johnson, announced the pregnancy on Instagram yesterday, with a picture of herself and the two children — son Wilfred and daughter Romy — she has with Boris Johnson. The post said: “New team member arriving in just a few weeks.” Since the pregnancy is now past eight months, as per the post, the new baby is due soon.

Boris and Carrie married almost exactly two years ago, on May 30, 2021, and their son was born long before that. The former UK prime minister has four previous children with his former wife Marina Wheeler, and one with his former girlfriend Helen Macintyre. His eldest child, Lara Lettice, is now a 27-year-old fashion and arts writer.
