Dubai to host biggest yoga festival in 2019

Dubai is set to host the biggest festival of Yoga in 2019 to refresh the body, mind and spirit. The two-day festival is expected to be filled with inspiration, invigoration and zen. Many international and local Yoga experts would offer their tips on the intricacies of Yoga.

XYoga Dubai will be organised on February 1 and 2, 2019 at the Kite Beach and about 15,000 yoga-lovers are expected to participate in two full days of classes for all abilities and ages.

The international yoga gurus set to participate in the festival is impressive including Laura Sykora, who has a following of more than one million yogis; global yoga warrior Janet Stone; Garth Hewitt, the creator of the Shiva Yoga system; best-selling author and celebrated wellness expert Davidji; and popular Indian yogi and trainer-to-the-stars Deepika Mehta.

In addition to this, there will be UAE experts hosting a series of holistic signature sessions, including Nilaya House, Urban Yoga, Yoga House, Yoga Ashram, Dryp, Lotus Holistic Yoga Center and Voyoga

Various new styles will be the attraction at the festival including Iyengar yoga, partner yoga, hula hoop yoga, Bollywood dance, tai chi, acroyoga and yogalates. Some of last year’s most popular styles – including sri sri yoga, yin yoga, clinical yoga, therapeutic yoga and art therapy yoga  will also be part of the programme.

 

Organisors of the event XDubai and Dubai Holding also organised a warm-up session today at the Ripe Market at Police Academy Park.
