Diljit Dosanjh sets stage on fire with Vancouver concert 

Indian singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh set the stage on fire and left the fans shouting aloud with his high-octane performance in Canada’s BC Place stadium in Vancouver.

He also wrote his name in the pages of history by becoming the first Punjabi singer to perform at the venue.

He shared several images and videos of his glittering Dil-Luminati Tour on Instagram.

Sharing the photos and videos, Diljit wrote an emotional post  on the platform which read: “HISTORY HAS BEEN WRITTEN  BC PLACE STADIUM  SOLD OUT.”

“DIL-LUMINATI TOUR,” he said.

According to media reports, it was the largest-ever Punjabi show outside India.

He charmed the over 50,000 concert goers at the stadium by singing some of his popular numbers, which include GOAT, 5 Taara, Lover, Kinni Kinni, and Ishq Mitaye.

After Saturday’s performance, he will now head towards Calgary, Winnipeg, and Edmonton in Canada, before reaching the US for the remaining tour.

Diljit has been featured in various music charts, including Canadian Albums Chart, UK Asian chart by Official Charts Company and New Zealand Hot Singles.

His movies, including Jatt & Juliet 2, Punjab 1984, Sajjan Singh Rangroot and Honsla Rakh are among the highest-grossing Punjabi films in history.

He made his Bollywood debut in 2016 with the crime thriller Udta Punjab for which he earned the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut, in addition for a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. This was followed by Good Newwz (2019), for which he received his second nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. As of 2020, he has won five PTC Award for Best Actor.

He was last seen in the movie Amar Singh Chamkila.
