Deutsche Bank hires 3 new managing directors for NRI clients

Deutsche Bank Wealth Management has hired three new managing directors to support coverage of non-resident Indian (NRI) clients, according to a report by The Straits Times. 

They are Rasik Ahuja, who was formerly from UBP; Sagar Sapra, who came from Standard Chartered Bank; and Swapnil Mishra, who joined from BSI Bank.

Amrit Singh, head of wealth management coverage, Global South Asia, said in a media statement that Deutsche Bank is seeing "very strong business momentum" in the NRI segment. Mr Singh himself had relocated to Singapore from London in September 2017.

Within the first quarter of this year, Deutsche Bank will be adding another 10 hires at various levels of seniority, to join the team in Singapore and Dubai.
