Deepika Padukone’s first look as squadron leader Minal Rathore in Fighter out now

The first look of Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone from upcoming Hindi film ‘Fighter’ was unveiled by the makers on Tuesday (December 5).

Deepika plays Squadron Leader Minal Rathore in the film.

The actress shared the look on her Instagram saying, “Squadron Leader Minal Rathore. Call Sign: Minni. Designation: Squadron Pilot. Unit: Air Dragons.”

In the film, which is directed by Siddharth Anand, Deepika co-stars Hrithik Roshan for the first time on the big screen.

Hrithik’s first look was unveiled by the makers on Monday. He plays Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania.

Apart from Hrithik and Deepika, the film stars veteran actor Anil Kapoor in the lead. The motion poster of ‘Fighter’ was unveiled on India’s 77th Independence Day on August 15, 2023.

Titled as ‘Spirit of Fighter’, the motion poster showcases fighter jets taking off while camera panning towards first Hrithik and then Deepika and Anil Kapoor, who all seem to be playing the air force officers.

The film is slated to be released on January 25, 2024 on the occasion of the country’s Republic Day (January 26).

Siddharth had previously directed Hrithik in two of his films, ‘Bang Bang’ and ‘War’ while Deepika in ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ and ‘Pathaan’.
