“We are thrilled to come to Singapore and perform in front of music aficionados. Audiences can expect an unforgettable evening filled with nostalgia, inspiration, and pure musical brilliance,” said Hariharan.

Lewis added, “The success of the Colonial Cousins album has inspired many other musicians to explore and experiment with fusion music. It has paved the way for other cross-cultural collaborations, contributing to the growth and popularity of world music and multi-cultural artistry.”

Their eponymous first album hit platinum in sales in India, and they received numerous awards, notably the MTV Asia Viewers’ Choice Award in 1996, and the US Billboard Viewers’ Award in 1996.

Hariharan and Lewis have worked with Madonna, Boy George, Annie Lennox, and other A-list Western musicians. Colonial Cousins were also the first Indian act to be featured on MTV Unplugged.
