Mediacorp will be presenting a new combination of hosts for this year’s show. This includes 987’s Germaine Tan and Maya Davidov, alongside digital content creators Kishan J and Zhin Sadali, all of whom will be making their Let’s Celebrate hosting debuts this year.

Joining them in hyping up the live audience are top talents such as Malaysian singer-songwriter Shila Amzah, who will be performing English and Mandarin numbers, and popular local artistes Richie Koh and Desmond Ng. Also keeping up the celebratory atmosphere will be homegrown rappers Yung Raja and Fariz Jabba; as well as ALYPH, the singer behind the TikTok trending song SWIPE.

Let’s Celebrate 2023 will also see the unique fusion of the culinary arts and music as vocalist Glenn Yong joins forces with the King of Culinary mentor Chefs Bob, Eric Teo and SR Bala, to present a novel drumming percussion performance using kitchenware. Belting out into the night will be the multi-faceted duo Ebi Shankara and Sherly Devonne Ng, while SPOP Wave! winner Gao Mei Gui and finalist Ridhwan Azman reunite to treat audiences to a rousing song performance. Additionally, veteran icon Rahimah Rahim, up-and-coming artiste Estelle Fly and Pradhana Vizha 2021 ‘Best Original Singer’ recipient Pavithra Nair, will team up to present a fresh cross-generational collaboration.

Partygoers can get their celebrations going hours before fireworks illuminate the Marina Bay skyline, starting from 7 pm, with electronic music beats echoing through The Promontory. There will be opportunities to meet the performing artistes, participate in lucky draws and carnival games and indulge in delicious light bites and refreshments. There will also be a Bullet Time Photo Booth onsite, as well as at various pop-up locations across the island in the weeks leading up to December 31, where one can create personalised new year’s greeting videos, to be shared with family and friends.

Angeline Poh, Chief Customer and Corporate Development Officer, Mediacorp, said: “We are thrilled to present a slate of festive activities, an eclectic ensemble of talents and creative collaborations in this year’s countdown party. We hope everyone can join us at The Promontory to bask in the thrilling atmosphere at Let’s Celebrate 2023!”
