"A story of 3 lost souls, 2 dead bodies and a journey of a lifetime, the film traces the lives of 3 people who come from different walks of life to start a journey together on a crazy and fun-filled road trip," says the official summary.

Karwaan is Irrfan Khan's second film after the actor announced he'd been diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour. Blackmail had released after Irrfan made it clear to its producers that the movie shouldn't suffer due to his condition.

"Karwaan is a road trip, that takes you from Bangalore to Kochi via Coimbatore and Ooty. Shot probably immediately after or during the monsoon season, it captures the lush green untamed beauty of these locales," Lakshmy Iyer wrote in her review for Connected to India. The movie has critics raving and is set to go from strength to strength in the weeks to come. Here's what fans and stars had to say on Day 1.
