Britney Spears’ memoir ‘The Woman in Me’ is making a strong mark as 1.1 million copies of it have been sold in the first week of release in the US.
First week sales reports indicate the memoir has sold 1.1 million copies in the U.S. alone through its first week, reported Deadline.
The sales figure of the book include pre-orders, print sales, e-books, and audiobooks.
Print accounted for 418,000 copies, according to Circana, which tracks the publishing market, Deadline reported.
“I poured my heart and soul into my memoir, and I am grateful to my fans and readers around the world for their unwavering support,” Spears said in a statement released Wednesday (November 1, 2023) by Gallery Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, as quoted by the news portal.
The memoir was released on October 24.
