After India, the UK claps for its healthcare workers fighting COVID-19

Following Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call on March 21 for people to come out and clap for healthcare workers on the frontline of the battle against COVID-19, the UK put out a similar message.

Using the #clapforourcarers and #clapforNHS, social media was flooded with people across the UK applauding the efforts being put in by doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals in fighting the coronavirus outbreak.
