9 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore on November 3, including 2 locally transmitted infections

The Ministry of Health has reported 9 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore as of 12 pm on November 3. This takes the national tally of confirmed infections to 58,029.

There are 2 new cases of locally transmitted COVID-19 infection, both of whom reside in dormitories. There are no new cases in the community. 

Additionally, there are 7 imported cases, who had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore, the MOH said in its preliminary release of figures. 

"We are still working through the details of the cases, and further updates will be shared via the MOH press release that will be issued tonight," the ministry added.
