7 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore on November 5, including one infection in the community

The Ministry of Health has reported 7 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore as of 12 pm on November 5. This takes the national tally of confirmed infections to 58,043.

There is 1 new case of locally transmitted COVID-19 infection, which is in the community. There are no new cases in the dormitories.

Additionally, there are 6 imported cases, who had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore, said MOH in its preliminary release of figures. 

"We are still working through the details of the cases, and further updates will be shared via the MOH press release that will be issued tonight," the ministry added.
