Singapore has recorded a fifth death due to COVID-19. The patient is an 86 year-old female Singapore citizen with no recent travel history to affected countries and regions.
She was admitted to the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) on March 31 and was confirmed to have COVID-19 on the same day.
The patient passed away at 1.55am on Friday, April 3. Ministry of Health (MOH) and NCID is providing her family members with all necessary assistance.
