396 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore on July 31, including 3 community and 3 imported cases

The Ministry of Health has reported 396 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore as of 12 pm on July 31. This takes the national tally of infections to 52,205.

The vast majority of the new cases are Work Permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories. There are also three cases in the community, all of whom are Work Pass holders, said the MOH in its preliminary release of figures. 

Additionally, there are 3 imported cases, who had been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore.

“We are still working through the details of the cases, and further updates will be shared via the MOH press release that will be issued tonight,” the ministry added.
