214 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore on June 15, including 3 cases in the community

The Ministry of Health has reported 214 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore as of 12 pm on June 15. This takes the national tally of infections to 40,818.

Of the new cases, the vast majority are work permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories. There are also 3 cases in the community, all of whom are Work Pass holders who were asymptomatic when swabbed.

There are no Singaporean/ Permanent Resident cases, said MOH. 

Meanwhile, 777 more cases of COVID-19 infection have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities.
