12 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore on September 23, including one infection in the community

The Ministry of Health has reported 12 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore as of 12 pm on September 23. This takes the nation’s tally of confirmed cases to 57,639.

There is one case in the community among the new infections, who is a Work Pass holder.

Additionally, there are four imported cases, three of which are Singapore Permanent Residents who returned to Singapore from India on September 11. The remaining case is a Work Pass holder currently employed in Singapore who arrived from Iran on September 11.
