According to reports, a couple chased the victim, identified as Darshan, for two kilometres on their car. The chase began after Darshan, riding a motorcycle with his friend seated behind, hit the couple’s vehicle’s mirror.

Identified as Manoj Kumar and Aarti Sharma, the couple chased the motorcycle before hitting it, throwing both Darshan and his friend off the road. While the friend survived, albeit with serious injuries, Darshan unfortunately passed away.

During the investigation, police checked the CCTV footage and was shocked by the couple’s vengeful nature. It showed that Kumar and Sharma had missed the motorcycle the first time. To ensure the hit, they took a U-turn and followed Darshan again.

Video also showed that after the attack, they fled the spot, only to return later wearing masks, to collected pieces of their car that littered the area during the collision.

While the case was registered as an accident initially, it has been changed to murder driven by road rage later, as per reports.

Law enforcement officials have also booked the couple for murder. Investigation into this is still ongoing.
