Two more cases of COVD-2019 confirmed in Singapore, including a worker at RWS

Two new cases of the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVD-2019) infection were confirmed on February 11, including an employee of the casino at Resorts World Sentosa. Both new cases have no recent travel history to China.

Separately, two more confirmed cases were discharged from hospital today, making it a total of nine who have fully recovered.

In a statement by the Ministry of Health (MOH), authorities said most of remaining 38 are stable or improving. Seven are in critical condition.

Case 46: A 35-year-old male Singapore Permanent Resident (PR). He went to work at RWS Casino prior to admission.

Case 47: A 39-year-old Bangladesh National. He is a Singapore Work Pass holder, and went to work at Seletar Aerospace Heights (same location as case 42), prior to admission.

Of the 25 locally transmitted case, 15 have links to three known clusters. Contact tracing is underway for the remaining 10.
