What did Singaporeans watch in 2019?
In a trending videos list released by YouTube, Tamil track Rowdy Baby by Wunderbar Studios made it to the top three in the music category list in Singapore this year.
Featuring actors Dhanush and Sai Pallavi, Rowdy Baby is also YouTube's top trending music video in India. The song is part of the soundtrack of the Tamil film "Maari 2".
Meanwhile, Singapore’s National Day Parade committee seems to have a winning formula for their annual theme songs. Following in the footsteps of 2018’s top trending video, Singaporeans sang loudly and proudly once again to this year’s track, Our Singapore. The song takes the second spot in this year’s trending list.
“YouTube is a platform that brings people together and connects them with the content they love,” said Angeline Leow, Head of Communications, Google Singapore.
