Changi Airport has introduced a new attraction aimed at enhancing the travel experience — an outdoor bamboo garden located along the Changi Airport Connector.

Called Bamboo Grove, the space is being described as the world’s first open-air bamboo garden in an airport setting.

Spread across 520 square metres, the garden is situated a short walk from Hub & Spoke Café near Terminal 2, and sits close to other airport-linked attractions such as Jurassic Mile, Butterfly Trail, and the Jurassic Bark Dog Run.
The new garden adds to Changi’s growing list of outdoor spaces designed for leisure and recreation.
Among the different bamboo species planted in the garden, the Giant Bamboo is a key highlight. Known to grow over 30 metres tall, it is native to Southeast Asia and suited to Singapore’s tropical climate.
The garden features natural landscaping elements including stone paths, boulders, and benches for visitors to sit and rest.
Bamboo Grove is accessible to both pedestrians and cyclists via the Park Connector Network.
Open round the clock and free to enter, the space has been designed for visitors seeking a quiet break in a natural environment, whether in transit or simply passing through the area.
