Singaporean and PR households can register for free flags for National Day

Singaporean and Permanent Resident (PR) households who want to display the Singapore flag in the lead up to National Day on August 9 this year can now register for a free flag to be mailed to them.

Earlier in April, rules pertaining to the display of national flag were amended to allow people to display the flag from April 25 to September 30.

In a Facebook post, Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth noted that it has since received feedback that some have been unable to get a flag.

"Flying our flag is an act of solidarity," MCCY said.
