Singapore celebrates unsung musical gems of Tamil Trinity

Good music never gets old! Isai Amuthu – musical gems of Tamil trinity is one such attempt, to bring back to life compositions by 15th century Carnatic  music composers to music lovers in Singapore.

The Tamil Trinity of Muthu Thandavar, Arunachala Kavi and Marimutha Pillai gave structure to Carnatic music, and several of their compositions are still part of the modern day Carnatic singing.

Temple of Fine Arts ensemble will be performing the recognised work of these composers on May 12 , at 5 and 8 pm at the Esplanade recital studios.
