Singapore Budget 2019 to be presented in Parliament on February 18

The much-anticipated Singapore Budget will be presented by Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat in the Parliament at 3:30 pm on February 18.

Arrangements have been made for live broadcast of the Budget on various channels, including a live webcast on the Singapore Budget website.

In addition to this, key announcements of the budget will be available through real-time updates of the Ministry of Finance’s Facebook page and Twitter account.

Further, budget updates will also be available via email, MOF’s WhatsApp and Telegram channels to those who sign up.

To receive the feedback from the people regarding the various provisions of the budget, a Budget 2019 Dialogue will be organised on February 21. It has been arranged by government feedback portal REACH.

Budget 2019 Dialogue will be chaired by Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and REACH chairman Sam Tan, who is also Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and for Social and Family Development. 

In addition to this, REACH will also conduct a series of radio talk shows and dialogues. Those interested to attend the dialogues can register at REACH’s Budget microsite email reach@reach.gov.sg. 

REACH Pre-Budget Listening Points will be set up at various locations in Singapore between February 20 and March 3 where people can also share their views and suggestions in person.
