Christened ‘First Responder’, these bikes are made with smart technology and equipped with the latest medical equipment, fire extinguishers and automated external defibrillators.

In addition to this, the bikes can also manoeuvre through congested traffic and narrow streets to reach accident sites quickly so that immediate help can be provided.

Sharjah Civil Defence has made it compulsory for industrial, commercial and residential buildings to be equipped with a smart alarm system linked to the civil defence control room for an immediate response to emergencies.

Additionally, new smart motorbike response unit stations will be opened alongside 10 additional fire stations.
