Mumbai glittered on Thursday evening as the grand premiere of Aamir Khan’s latest film Sitaare Zameen Par brought together some of the biggest names in Indian cinema.

The special screening, held on 19 June ahead of the film’s global release on 20 June, saw an extraordinary turnout from across the film industry, marking a significant moment of celebration and anticipation.
Among the highlights of the evening was the presence of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, who were seen arriving separately but both warmly received by fans and the media.
A light-hearted exchange between Salman Khan and Aamir Khan quickly gained attention, adding a touch of humour to the occasion. Shah Rukh Khan was also seen interacting with the debutant actors of the film, offering encouragement and posing for photographs in a relaxed and cheerful manner.
The red carpet witnessed an impressive list of celebrities, including Rekha, Asha Bhosale, Juhi Chawla, Vicky Kaushal, Tiger Shroff, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Jeetendra, Kriti Kharbanda, Sunny Kaushal, Tushar Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha, Ali Fazal, Jackie Shroff, Nitanshi Goel, Dhwani Bhanushali, Aashutosh Rana, Renuka Vyvhare, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Rajkumar Hirani, Darsheel Safari, and Ahsaas Channa.
Aamir Khan’s son Azad Rao Khan and partner Gauri Spratt also attended, adding a personal note to the evening.
Sitaare Zameen Par, directed by R.S. Prasanna and produced by Aamir Khan Productions, is described as a spiritual successor to the 2007 film Taare Zameen Par. The new film stars Genelia Deshmukh alongside Aamir Khan and introduces ten debutant actors with intellectual disabilities.
The cast includes Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishnan Varma, Vedant Sharmaa, Naman Misra, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Ashish Pendse, Samvit Desai, Simran Mangeshkar, and Aayush Bhansali. Supporting roles are played by Dolly Ahluwalia, Gurpal Singh, Brijendra Kala, and Ankita Sehgal.
The film has already received an enthusiastic response from early viewers, with social media platforms filled with reactions praising the performances and emotional depth of the story.
