SEORAE Korean Charcoal BBQ launches second outlet at JEM

This August, Korean food lovers living in the west side of Singapore can rejoice as SEORAE Korean Charcoal BBQ launches its second outlet in Singapore at Jem at Jurong East.

Fans of Seorae’s signature Korean galmaegisal – otherwise known as premium pork skirt meat – can look forward to indulge in the must-have staple at the new outlet.

With a texture resembling that of Wagyu beef, the luxurious cut is said to be exclusively enjoyed by Korean royalty in olden times. Seasoned with a delicious blend of Korean spices, the galmaegisal promises a tender and juicy bite that is infused with tantalising, rich flavours.

New on the menu is the 2-in-1 Jjigae, created for the fickle eater. Enjoy the best of both worlds with two hearty Korean broths in one tummy-warming pot.

Choose from five different options — kimchi, gochujang (red chilli), spicy and non-spicy doenjang (bean paste), and bulgogi sauce—to go with your choice of pork collar or beef belly. Completing your meal are generous servings of zuchini, onion, beancurd, glass noodle, spring onion, and enoki and shiitake mushrooms.

New to the Jem outlet are also a dedicated grilling station and self-service salad bar. Feast on authentic Korean charcoal BBQ meats grilled to perfection by your server at the grilling station—perfect for those looking for a quick, effortless lunch without having to smell like smoke.

“We’ve done well since opening our first outlet at Plaza Singapura one and a half years ago. With the opening of our second outlet at Jem, we hope to introduce Seorae’s signature Korean charcoal BBQ experience to the west,” says Wilyawati Tjiu, Managing Director of SEORAE Korean Charcoal BBQ. “In order to cater to Jem’s family-friendly crowds, we’ve added a new dedicated grilling station, banchan bar and 2-in-1 jjigae options.”

Love Korean banchans (side dishes)? Often an essential start to any Korean meal, the new self-service salad bar is a welcome addition for diners who wish to indulge in a never-ending supply of these appetizing staples.

To celebrate the opening of Seorae Jem, with every S$60 spent, diners will recieve S$25 off all a la carte orders throughout the month of August.
