The deal was announced at the Telangana Rising Global Summit and is seen as a major success for Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

The project began to take shape after the Chief Minister met actor Salman Khan in Mumbai in late October. During the meeting, he asked the actor to support the “Telangana Rising” campaign and bring Bollywood investments to the state. Salman praised the state’s fast development in technology and infrastructure and agreed to help promote Telangana’s image.

This positive meeting encouraged further talks, which led to the final MoU. The project will come up in Bharat Future City and is expected to create thousands of jobs in areas like construction, film production, hospitality, and retail.

The main feature will be a modern film studio complex with facilities for big-budget movies, OTT shoots, post-production work and VFX. The government hopes this will make Hyderabad a major global centre for film production, attracting projects from Bollywood, Hollywood and South Indian industries.

The integrated township will also include luxury features such as a golf course, race course and high-end housing. This is expected to help the state’s tourism sector as well.

There will be talent development programmes to train local artists and technicians so they can work on international-level projects.

Chief Minister Reddy said the investment will create jobs and strengthen Telangana’s position as a leading destination for filmmaking and luxury tourism. The state has promised full support to ensure the project moves ahead smoothly.
