The annual Open House to welcome new members and students to its fold will be held over two days, March 19 and 20, 2022.

Puneet Pushkarna, Chairman, Performances and External Relations, SIFAS said they are excited about the upcoming Open House as SIFAS will continue to showcase Indian culture and bring the arts to the community.

"We hope that folks will take advantage of the Open House to give themselves an opportunity to experience and partake in the Arts. We believe Art is the universal language of mankind and provides all of us a sanctuary to express ourselves, in the most intimate and non-judgemental form," Pushkarna added.

SIFAS reflects the cultural diversity of the rich and ancient Indian heritage and its history in the Lion City with a structured curriculum, classes and examinations. They have fostered many homegrown talents and become a cornerstone of arts and culture in Singapore and the region.

The Open House will showcase Indian classical dance and music performances, introduce workshops by teachers and provide a chance to tour the premises and meet the teachers.

This year, for the first time, SIFAS has a new promotion for organisations; if five members of an organisation become SIFAS members, they are eligible for a 50 % discount on booking the SIFAS Annexe Theatre for an event. If 10 members or more of an organisation become SIFAS members and join the courses, they can book the SIFAS Annexe Theatre for free for one event. Further conditions about the offer can be found on the SIFAS website.

SIFAS is also offering a host of other promotions, such as an SGD 100 registration fee waiver for new students, an incentive for current students to register for a new discipline and vouchers for current SIFAS students who refer a friend.
