India-based and South Asia’s largest global hospitality chain, OYO Hotels & Homes, launched its premium offering for business travellers - Capital O - in the UAE. It has announced the opening of two new hotels in this segment.
The first, Capital O 187 Action Hotel is located in Ras Al Khaimah and the second, Capital O 167 Moon Valley Hotel Apartment, is situated in Bur Dubai.
Capital O specially caters to new-age corporate travellers, with facilities for business & leisure stays including high-speed WiFi, 24x7 food and beverages with in-room services, buffet-style breakfast and premium amenities.
In India, OYO has received an overwhelming response to its Capital O offering, with 700 hotels in 200+ cities across the country as part of its growing portfolio.
“Since OYO’s launch in UAE last year, several business travellers have shared their feedback and thoughts with us on hotels that cater to their needs. Capital O, therefore, was launched keeping their requirements in mind and we plan to rapidly expand this segment of our portfolio by the last quarter of 2019,” said Manu Midha, Regional Head, Middle East, OYO Hotels & Homes.
OYO has launched Capital O in partnership with Action Hotels, which is the owner, developer and asset manager of branded three and four-star hotels in the Middle East and Australia.
“Our collaboration with OYO Hotels & Homes will help us combine our synergies to help tackle the hospitality needs for visitors to Ras Al Khaimah,” said Christophe Landais, CEO of Action Hotels.
Launched in the UAE in October 2018, OYO has received over 225,000 guests across 105 hotels and homes and 1,800 rooms in five emirates, including Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al-Khaimah, Fujairah and Ajman.
It also launched the OYO Home brand, which has over 70 homes in Dubai.
