Overnight camping, dining alley, and nature-themed attractions coming to Mandai Wildlife East

Mandai Wildlife Reserve is set to unveil a range of new attractions in its eastern cluster in the second half of 2025, offering visitors fresh ways to explore and engage with nature. As per an official news release, key highlights include Colugo Camp, a new overnight stay experience designed to immerse visitors in the natural surroundings, and Dining Alley, a curated food street featuring a mix of homegrown brands and international cuisines.

Apart from that, Mandai Wildlife Group, in collaboration with NTUC First Campus, will launch ZooSchool this June — a new nature-based education initiative for children aged preschool to 12 years old. Set within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, ZooSchool aims to provide immersive, wildlife-themed learning experiences that combine early childhood development with outdoor exploration.

Drawing on NTUC First Campus’ expertise in early education and outdoor learning, the programmes are designed to foster a sense of adventure and curiosity in children through hands-on activities across the Reserve’s parks. Participants will engage in nature-inspired lessons that include acquiring basic survival skills such as first aid, knot tying, and navigation, while exploring and interacting with the natural environment.

ZooSchool launches with 3-day holiday programmes for the June holidays, allowing young explorers to enjoy curated outings in Singapore Zoo and Bird Paradise. Additional programmes, including those tailored for preschools, will be introduced in the coming months.

Mike Barclay, Group CEO, Mandai Wildlife Group said, “We kicked off the year with the opening of the Mandai Boardwalk, which has attracted over 200,000 visitors in just four months. We now look forward to adding more exciting features to the Mandai Wildlife Reserve in the months ahead, including a dedicated education facility for children, dedicated campsite with immersive tours, engaging event spaces and vibrant new dining options.”

As part of the ongoing development at Mandai Wildlife East, the Colugo Camp will open in the third quarter of the year. Available for year-round bookings, the permanent site features 20 safari tents with stunning views, supported by communal dining and shower facilities.

Each tent accommodates up to four people for an all-inclusive camping experience which includes meals and guided explorations within the wildlife parks. Colugo Camp will continue to be complemented by seasonal glamping favourites – Glamping in the Wild at the Singapore Zoo and Glamping with the Penguins at Bird Paradise.

All camping experiences include curated programmes to ensure that every stay will be both fun and educational. Registrations can be made at www.mandai.com/colugocamp.
